Mr. Shea served more than 29 years with the Drug Enforcement Administration. Mr. Shea's last assignment with the DEA was Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge/State of North Carolina. In this position he was responsible for leading, directing and managing the full range of DEA operations throughout the State of North Carolina. In this capacity he oversaw operations of DEA personnel assigned to four regional offices.
In a prior assignment, Mr. Shea served as DEA Representative to the U.S. Interdiction Coordinator. In this capacity he was charged with oversight of all U.S. committed assets dedicated to detection and monitoring of organizations bringing drugs into the United States from South America. He also served with the DEA in New York City, Miami and the Bahamas.
