Cait Bulthuis
I’m in the honors program and I’m enjoying my high school experience by getting involved in extracurricular activities and school sports.
I am a goalkeeper for our Plainfield North High School Girls’ Soccer Team as well as a goalkeeper for my traveling soccer team, the Naperville Galaxy. Soccer has been a part of my life since I was only four years old. I have learned a lot about life through my participation in sports and the growth of my understanding of team values.
I’m honored to have received the opportunity to represent Illinois on the D.A.R.E. Youth Advisory Board. Having family members dedicated to law enforcement, I learned from them at young age that drugs, alcohol, and poor decisions lead people down a dark path.

My fifth grade D.A.R.E. program, led by Officer Mark Siegel, was another educational experience that assisted in raising my awareness of the horrible consequences associated with the use of drugs and alcohol.
I hope my time spent on the Youth Advisory Board will afford me the opportunity to positively impact my peers and other youth toward a healthy, drug free, non-violent approach to life. |
