Bree Melanson attended San Diego State University studying International Business with an emphasis in Spanish and Management. Among many jobs in college, Bree was a Grant Writer Intern at a local non-profit organization. It was always her aspiration to work in the non-profit field.

Although dance had been her passion and artistic gift since youth, it was immediately after graduation that she was offered a scholarship at The International Academy of Performing Arts in San Diego. The scholarship further ignited her thirst to pursue dance as a professional.

She moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and began teaching, choreographing and auditioning. Her strongest medium is Hip Hop, which she has taught for D.A.R.E. Dance for nearly 3 years. She has also choreographed for dance troupes such as Culture Shock, USD, UCLA, and managed/choreographed the D.A.R.E. Company Dancers in Los Angeles in 2004.

She is currently choreographing for several new music artists, children’s musicals, and the Special Olympics. She has performed at the MTV Movie Awards and with the artist Houston.
